Galaxy Builders, Inc. has been in business since September 2003. The owner, Mike Sundberg, started Galaxy Builders, Inc. to provide honest, quality construction services to the residents of Jacksonville, Florida. Having worked in the construction industry since he was 13 years old, Mike understood the need for good, honest contractors.
Over the years, Mike has purposefully assembled a group of tradesmen who can complete a project to the customer’s satisfaction. Customers find it easy to work with Galaxy Builders, Inc. because we always stand behind our work; have great foresight into how a project should run; and understand ever-evolving building codes, work with new, innovative building materials, and keep up-to-date with design trends.
Galaxy Builders, Inc. specializes in roof replacements and repairs, kitchen and bath remodels, windows and doors replacement and installation as well as siding replacements and repairs. We also offer financing options to customers with approved credit; allowing our customers to complete their desired projects without breaking the bank.
Mike's construction experience began when he started working with family running electricity in remodeled and new construction homes. It was during this time Mike learned the importance of doing the job right the first time; he subscribes to the philosophy of "measure twice, cut once".
Although at the top of his construction trade classes in high school, Mike really understood the value of work done efficiently and correctly thanks to the guidance of a few remarkable tradesmen and teachers in framing, masonry, and cabinetry.
At 18, Mike began working on a new construction roofing crew, quickly moving up the ranks. From there, Mike moved on to another company and became certified in vinyl siding and roofing installation. During this time, Mike expanded his experience on home additions, framing, and window replacement.
Mike applied for and passed Florida's
Galaxy Builders, Inc. is what it is today because of Mike’s hard work and dedication to not only the business but also the residents of Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
